State Employees' Credit Union... State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) values its members and we are proud to honor a "Member of the Week" on our website.

This week we would like to honor and recognize Sybil Langston.

Sybil Langston became a member of State Employees’ Credit Union in 1995 while employed in child nutrition with Wake County Schools. She is grateful for SECU’s low loan rates, high deposit rates and the caring and pleasant staff at her local branch. She also appreciates that her children and grandchildren were able to join the credit union through her membership. Sybil comments, "SECU has always been there to assist me and my family with all our financial needs. Whenever I’ve had a crisis, the credit union has been encouraging and extremely pleasant." She continues, "The employees at my local branch don’t just answer my questions, they educate me."

Sybil has two daughters, three grandchildren and is anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first great grandchild. She loves animals and has four dogs and a cat. In her free time, Sybil enjoys quilting, gardening and crafts.
